Intraoral Cameras
An intraoral camera is small device shaped like a pen. With it, we can take pictures of the various parts of your mouth from different angles, letting us closely examine every inch of your teeth and gums for signs of decay and disease. We can also display these images on a monitor next to your dental chair; that way, you can see exactly what we’ve found in your mouth. It’s much easier to make the right choices for your dental care when you know precisely what’s going on with your oral health.
All-Digital X-Rays
X-rays help us gather information about your oral health that we wouldn’t be able to get just by looking with the naked eye. Digital X-rays are much clearer than those taken on traditional film, and they can be developed in far less time; they’ll be ready to view immediately on one of our chairside computers. Best of all, they are significantly safer; they emit up to 90% radiation, and there’s no need to use a dark room filled with harmful chemicals.
Digital Impression System
No one likes having physical impressions taken at the dentist’s office; the material used to make them tastes bad, and you have to bite down on it for an uncomfortably long time. Our digital impressions system lets you say “so long” to physical impression material in favor of digital scans of your mouth and jaw, which are far more comfortable and can be produced in just a few minutes. And since they’re based on digital scans, they’re more likely to give you proper results the first time.
